Exavor Diesel
Hi, I am looking for a Victorian era/themed skybox, suitable for a 1024sqm parcel. (702 prims) Looking for something of very high quality/mesh. Have checked the marketplace but got tired shifting through all the junk. Would appreciate any recommendations Cheers

Would appreciate any recommendations Cheers I think the 1900 skybox by Ulysses Cabaret is the best there is. It is "partial mesh" and has sculpty as well which means some people will be snobs about it but I think it's magnificent. It is a lot of prims but they are easy to remove without leaving "baked on" texture problems. It probably is too overwhelming for a 1024 but maybe not. Another very nice library and wood panels plus fireplace type of skybox called the "Gothic Skybox" is by Milk Motion -- it's not really that gothic. It's not on the MP yet so look in the inworld store. I find this very versatile and fairly low prim. dust bunny has several attic type skyboxes that are Victorian in feeling. Can't think of any others but I think I must have seen them. Varonis has some great dark or art deco type of skyboxes. 2
Aethelwine
I immediately thought of the Hague Skybox by Dutchie, but it doesn't look like they sell it any more. It was like this which also looks nice from the pictures and might work : https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/VARONIS-Lueur-Skybox/16732901?page=1 This is maybe more Regency than Victorian but might be something to look at, it comes in different colour themes in the store and much lighter on the land impact. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Violetility-Boudoir-Skybox-Light/8635377

I sometimes deliberately put them on light and even glow because they are just so totally dark, the Luer in particular. But some people want them dark. 1

Would appreciate any recommendations Cheers Is it a typo? 1024sqm is 351 prims, or Li. Unless you rent or own double prim land, of course. I have rented some double prim land recently, and it is really wonderful to have more Li than the default.

While at the shop I was impressed by the Paris Hauptmann skybox - all light and bright but it could probably be tinted if you really wanted to, and the fireplaces are grand - and so many rooms, even one for resting in - so exhausting being posh.
