Your best finds at the 2023 Valentine Shop & Hop?

I am still looking, but I was pretty pleased to find the 300L credits from Glitzz, which is enough to get you 2 outfits in their store there. Anyone else found something good, freebies, discounts? Link to blog entry below has SLURLs to stores.

Surplus motors has a very nice small convertible car here http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lupine/153/28/53  and they also have a version for Dinkies and Tinies. For casual women's clothing Blueberry has a 300L store credit here http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sugarplum/103/176/53 which works for the things for sale at the booth. This free hair (fatpack) comes from Sintiklia http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hollyhock/175/82/53  and the lipstick is from Pumec - get the free 300L gift card then go to the Pumec mainstore and buy makeup.

I'm not really interested in clothes so much and I'm just looking at the furniture or decor.

So Cerridwen's Cauldron has a purple dragon statue, "The Guardian," on sale for just $160, very majestic. Plus his Winter Stag in a purple special edition. You know the Summer Frog Prince he has had various incarnations of, you can get just the special edition Valentine's one only at this time.

Then I stopped at Silas Marner's, he had this very elegant dog statue and he has miepon's for 30L.

Fallen Gods/Libertine had a very well organized booth so you could easily pick out past stuff you missed and there are some recoloured new items and a new one, Un Fresco Guiodarno

Circa had a nice Valentine muffins' tray, I think that was a previous item but also some new deliverable food items.

Those stood out for me from my first round last night, now I am plunging in again.

My criteria: I don't want a single thing with a heart or the word "Valentine's" because I already have a zillion things like that with 18 years of hard SL living. So I was trying to pick out the "keepers".

I don't have the links because I didn't find that page yet with the list of them, I'll be back.

UPDATE: well, go to the page and see the stores. Also Eclectic has a 1950s kidney style table for only 30L.

Still beating the bushes...

These are some stand out ones for me, the creators have been really, really generous! Thank you!

In the avatar pic the gifts are the pink dress from * SK * , the latte cup with cute colourful hearts from Schadenfreude , the glowing heart (which has scrolling colour change) from Seka, the valentine necklace by Meva (with colour options). The boots I got using the gift card from Luna Chelsea (with colour options included, yay!).

The first car with the Valentine flowers on the bonnet is from SA-Items, and the second cute TuruTuru from 777 motors. The red car is from Olympus Motors. Last cars are from Surplus motors - two options, regular size and dinkie.

 I haven't looked at all the gifts properly yet, so I'm sure there's more great stuff.

There's a $L 300 gift card at Peeps that Alycia can use for another dress for her Dinkie kitty. I used the $L 300 store credit from Blueberry to get a HUD pack of their Cutieberry Cardigan top & dress combo. I used $L 300 from Glitzz with other store credit to get a black pencil skirt and a sexy waspie waist belt. $L 300 at NaaNaa's will get me either a bracelet or a pair of Bento gloves I like. $L 300 from Vision got me a sexy red leather jacket that can be worn as a top. 

Lately I've been going for a sexy but modest look by wearing black BOM pants (now leggings) and tops under short mesh "dresses", jackets and tops.

I know what you mean, I have a folder of gifts from another event, Shop'n or a SL something event with letters and numbers. I will eventually close my eyes and dump all in the trash.

I am only looking for things that stand out now, things I would have bought anyway if it wasn't an event. I agree with Prokofy, Valentine themed stuff am I not interested in. Not even freebies. Maybe a car. That red one was good, if not for the hearts... ugh.

The Tinseled sim has plenty of stuff for men.  My M-Alt stocked up on shirts there, that's for sure!!!

Cerridwen's Cauldron has a nightgaunt plushie gift, if you're looking for something more eldritch. In things to buy, I got a little cat sign for my KittyCats area from Sparrows Nest. I'm planning to get the decor bunny fatpack from BananaN.

I don't mind pink or hearts, but I'm not interested in romantic sayings or furniture with cuddle animations. That's probably going to cut out a lot of the decor gifts once I have a look at them. But I got a whole bunch of free cars to crash into houses and a few new pets, so I can't really complain.

Store credit and gift cards are not themed. There are websites and YouTube videos that tell which stored have these as their gift.

At Vision the store credit is a group gift, but it's only about $L 20 to join the group, and since they do store credit regularly, it's worth it as long as you like their stuff.

Tinseled seems to have more of the guy stuff, in case you want to see if there's anything there you like. GothicCatz has a T-shirt I like for my guy alt, a human heart on a white or red shirt.

I love collecting the eldritch plushies from Cerridwen's Cauldron. One of them sits on a chair in my house, under a travel poster for Innsmouth.

There is a region almost entirely with men's goods but there are stores for men in other regions as well. Quite a lot more than I've seen in the past. LL seems to be grouping similar stores together so if you find a store with men's stuff you should continue looking around that region.

I've been using all the free credits being offered. Valentine themed clothes seem to fit more with casual clothing than themes from other holidays.

I spent way more time than I needed to there today, but then I got distracted. I found a few cute things in the gifts. One pack I bought. Ignore the bad quality pics and my ao, you get whatever pose I was in when I snapped it.  I didn't feel like taking off my shoes. 

This is from Blueberry-a top that has a few other textures I think 6 or something, didn't count. I liked this one. I bought this, because I wasn't paying attention, but there's a GC here you can use on the stuff too. Also there's leggings in the pack, but I'm lazy. 

 

This is at L&B, the top comes with two in the pack, one without the bra, but my chesticular undercarriage doesn't belong on forums

 

This is MooH's gift, has like 8 textures I think, it's cute, need your own panties, unless you're not an idiot, or lazy, like me and can use bom right, then it has them.

 

This is from Ivon, also has 6 or 8 textures and needs panties, doesn't come with bom ones

I got distracted opening things and wandered off to find a group gift gc at some other store and got myself two and a half new outfits. But I did grab most of the gifts and realized I can't use a lot of it anyway, but that's ok. I'm going back to get a dog at libellune later, it's not free, but it's really cute. They have some cute companions and holdables there.

Top left: What Next has a pack with 15 color combinations of Spring tulips. I only rezzed some of them. No color change for the pot, but I tinted 2 in the front, one darker and one more red.

Top right: BMe & The Silas Gallery. Psyche Statue and Cat and Angel. The default box show size. Can be edited, the Li will of course change.

Bottom left: Fancy Decor. The wood heart is the freebie. The rest from Jones set.

Bottom right: Fancy Decor. Portland dining table, Portland chair and Miles rug.
