If I am in private IM and then I click anything, next time I go to chat it types in local. How do I change that. Thank you. End goal is I would like to stay in the IM I was in and not have to check EVERYTIME I type which window I am in. Thank you.

ETA, alternatively, if there was a way I could just turn off local so I cannot chat in it until I CHOOSE TO that would be optimal.
