Linden Homes Notification Maintenances

I saw on the Second Life grid status page this afternoon and saw that the Lindens are doing Linden homes notification maintenances starting tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday night between 08:00pm - 04:00am SLT (11:00pmE3K-DT - 07:00amE3K-DT) (See http://status.secondlifegrid.net/2011/06/17/post1319/) I notice that in the blog that "email confirmations for premium account upgrades and Linden Home acquisition will be delayed until the maintenance is complete".

Two questions:

1: Shall we wait until the mainteance is complete to get the Linden home or shall we procced as normal.

2: How many times in the past did the Lindens do Linden Homes notification mainteances?
