Hair looks weird on my friends screen

Okay, I hope someone can help with this. The left picture is the view on my screen (newest Firestorm version, Nvidia GC), right one is the view on my friends screen (newest Firestorm version, Nvidia GC). We even compared graphic settings in the viewer and he changed his to mine, but it didn't get better. I tried to fix it by changing some settings in the hair hud (according to the notecard of the hair), but nothing helped...This is frustrating, cause everything else is fine, just not my hair. I changed through some other hairs, but there is always an issue on his end either with alpha layers (head base and hair looking separated), or any mesh hair. Help please :(.

Yeah, my visuals look like the picture on the right most of the time. Most hairs that were made more than a few years ago shouldn't have that problem.

It is RAMA.SALON - Better Kimmy Hair and the newest hair I got...and I love it a lot, so I am even more frustrated that it doesn't show the lovely way I see it myself on his screen....

Try comparing your Environment settings (not your graphics settings, but World > Environment) with your friend's.

well, switching through all environment settings didn't help either, thank you all for your suggestions though. I am using an older Truth hair now that doesn't cause that effect. =/ oh well.
