m4 mars and avatar 2.0 skin and clothes suggestions

so i've been struggling with these for awhile trying to find skins and clothes i like. mars barely has anything but eye mods available on marketplace. i cant find much good male skin appliers for avatar 2.0. krankhaus is the main clothes designer for avatar 2.0 but its for the older version of the body. ive look probably through everything for both on marketplace. i'm hoping there's places inworld i can go to look around.

Neither of these are supported at all by easy to find designers. What are your style goals, and maybe we can hook you up with a head/body that meets your needs?

originally i used two gray skins made for mars and one for avatar 2.0 but they never matched bc they were deigned by 2 different ppl, neither came with a neck applier. so i recently switched to the mars default skin for avatar 2.0 that came with the head and leopard miw's m4 uska applier for mars. i tinted them both bc i wanted a gray skintone. im happier with this result ngl it blends better but it's still not perfect. it was hard to find clothes that fit the new version of avatar 2.0. clbue is really the only person making stuff that does work for the new body, most of its for female avatars though.

Considering how he avatar looks I can offer these insighs fro my end:

• Body: Switch to Gianni/Jake/Legacy or whatever mesh body that you prefer that has decent popularity. However - If your reasoning to use 2.0 still is edit permissions, Jake has a 'advanced' version which has edit right.
• For the face, if you like to keep the anime aesthetic, switch to the M4 Venus head and tinker with the shape. I have been able to get pretty good 'adult' looking results from heavily modifying it's shape.

It all depends on your wishes and budget honestly. You'll always going to run in skin compatibility issues with items that weren't made by the same creator, and the trick is finding a workaround and to tinker with textures yourself to get it matching as close as it can, especially mixing non anime with anime.

You'll have less problems matching the body and head skin if you use both a top brand body and a top brand mesh head. Lelutka has the female Gaia head with neko/ fox/  wolf ears, but I don't think they have one like that yet for the guys.  Also, those ears are higher on the head. I don't know how far down they can come so as to look like your ear placement.

This is the wolfy look I got with a Gaia head and ears along with a good bit of shaping the facial sliders.

i could give venus a attempt for a dude and use either my slink or gianni body. currently i use venus for my miku avatar with maitreya. i considered getting the bom relay for utilizator's stuff, i couldn't understand the instructions when i first tried. maybe i should test the relay again?

@Persephone Emeraldi should look into letluka since ive been meaning too but always forget. i do have other well-known bodies and heads like genus, slink, and maitreya.

 

ive just been trying to save this body from being unused since i spent lidens on it back when i was newer to sl. but its been a struggle to reach a point i'm fine with how it looks. maybe i should finally just accept defeat on avatar 2.0 and mars.
