"Unable to log in to Second Life due to an internal error."

I don't remember ever seeing this error before; I first got it on Firestorm, and again when I tried logging in with the official SecondLife viewer. I was playing perfectly fine just last night, I checked for emails about being banned or something - not that I'd be any less confused as I haven't done anything to be banned. I've tried googling for this error... and I've seen literally no one mention it; It's not even on the FAQ for error messages.

It says "If you feel this is an error, please contact support@secondlife.com", but I was hoping for a quicker solution as I have tiers to pay. 

If anyone knows how I might be able to fix this, or at least what the cause might be, please let me know. Thank you in advance!

This error message has appeared for me today (8/16/23). Cannot log in. Incidentally, I just installed the latest Firestorm viewer (6.6.14).

I am having the same issue on both of my accounts. Maybe a secondlife technical problem

Same issue here.  I reinstalled firestorm and the SL viewer and no luck

Thanks for that; I kept checking but there wasn't any message there.

 

Oddly, I was just able to log in so here's hoping the issue is fixed/in the process of being fixed.

I was able to get logged back in

This error is still happening the next day even after maint is supposed to be done. Grid status shows still going though so I'm guessing maintenance is going to last longer than expected.

Me too, I have not installed the 6.6.14 version I'm still using 6.6.8

I was logged in and tried to change my outfit but it didn't load fully for me and i was naked for others so i tried relogging and now can't bet back in.
