What's truly amazing is that Madison Avenue managed to sell pretty much every company everywhere on the idea that the people coming up with these ads could actually improve their bottom line.

That was more hype than the ads themselves.

Ahhh -- I saw another ad for the Lux soap and that one was just talking about keeping the female skin looking young.  So I thought the above ad was just being cheeky with the wording.
