You might want to call HP about your issues.

Good luck with that.

edit:

ok, now that you know the truth, try clearing your cache, for whatever reason your avatars data isn't getting from the servers to your system.

To clear cache first enable view hidden folders by going to your control panel, folder options, view, show hidden files and folders.

Then go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife and delete the contents of that folder.

Then go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\SecondLife and delete the contents of that folder.

Go back to control panel, folder options, view, don't show hidden files and folders.

Restart your computer.

Log in to SL under advanced mode.

Open your inventory recent tab and wait for it to stop fetching.

Your note doesn't offer much detail about the problem, so it's hard to know what to say. When skin and clothes won't load, what happens?  Are you a cloud?  Are you wearing the wrong outfits? Are you all gray?  Which body parts are misaligned? What do you mean by "misaligned"?

Almost all avatar appearance issues are caused by poor communication between SL's servers and your local computer. Because appearance files are loaded first on your own computer and then have to be uploaded so that they are visible in world, there are many opportunities for the files to be corrupted or incomplete. Also, unlike most computer games you may be familiar with, SL relies on a continuous stream of data between its servers and your GPU.  That makes it very bandwidth intensive, again potentially making it vulnerable to weak Internet connections, modems and routers with outdated drivers, or environmental interference (especially on wireless systems).  Without more information about your specific problem, it's hard to say whether you should focus on tracking down connection problems or on repairing corrupted files.  You can add to your post by using Options >> Edit .

Oh, BTW .... HP did not buy LL.

I have to second what the others say. The problems you have are almost certainly connection or cache related. So try what has been suggested, and post back - edit your own post - if you still have issues.

btw, where did you hear HP bought LL? It's nothing but a rumor. Also, the people answering these questions are residents, like you. We do not work for LL, but do this because we like to help.

It would help if you posted a photo of your avatar.  Take a photo and save to your hard drive.  Edit your question and click on the icon to insert/edit image.  Use browse to find the photo on your hard drive.  Upload the image and post it to your question.

I second Luc's comment about this forum.  The questions are answered by other residents just like you.  We are not compensated by LL for our time in doing this.  So, save your rant and give us information we can work with please.
