How do I setup a fund raiser for the victims of the Wallow Wild Fire in NorthEaster Arizona?

There are no general restrictions on how you may raise funds for your favorite cause in SL. However, you should think about two related questions:

(1) How will potential donors know that I am collecting for a legitimate cause instead of running a scam?

(2) How can I guarantee that donations I collect will do the most good?

I suggest that the best way to answer both questions is to do some homework in RL.  I am sure that there are charities already set up to collect funds for disaster relief in Arizona (Red Cross, maybe?).  Contact them and find out how you can help, and what their own rules are.  Work out a way for donors to connect directly to the agency -- by donation through their web site, perhaps -- instead of having any money pass through your own accounts. Get promotional materials that describe the agency and what it does with donations, and use their own language in your materials in world.  That serves two purposes: (a) it gives your efforts more credibility and (b) it reassures the agency that you are on the same page that they are.  It would be terrible if you accidentally did something that misrepresented the agency or put them in an awkward legal position.

I commend you for what you are trying to do. Good luck finding the best way to do it.

I agree with Rolig's answer, the mainkey is that you will need to be legally approved to use an official logo of an IRL charity. Probably some article or link to backup you're story. Also you need some nice spots to put the charity raisers down on. SL can be a greedy world.
