You can fake it by putting one of the tattoo textures on a new tattoo layer and a second one on an underwear layer garment.  Before they introduced tattoo layers last year, that's how we always handled tattoos.

I wear more than one tattoo layer by choosing add instead of wear when putting on a new tattoo layer. Up to 5 can be worn this way. This is indispensable when wearing makeups that come in tattoo layers, such as eyeliner, lashes, lipstick, rouge and blush.

Be aware that wearing several no-modify tattoo layers *might* cause your avatar to not update (rebake) properly. It can happen in certain circumstances that you change skins, and everything but your torso for instance, updates. If this happens, removing tattoo layers will most likely help, and can be added again after you avatar is updated properly.

I believe that the LL Viewer will allow you to wear more than one tattoo layer. If you use 3 party viewer like Phoenix which I use to wear multiple tattoos I wear one tattoo layer and then wear other tattoos on clothing layers.

I have no idea why no-mod tattoo layers trigger it. Very strange, I think. I registered a jira for it - https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25775 - where it is explained in a bit more detail. If you try and manage to force the error, it would be good if you added your comment to the jira.

LOL. It's like being a puppet master. :matte-motes-evil-invert: The alt might freak out, though, when it realize what you are about to put it through and run away.
