Question

I recently purchased a product that was advertised as a DOOR.  However, when you try to pass through the opening, you CANNOT.  The object is COPY/NO MOD/NO TRANS.   The product advertises as a DOOR.  BUT a DOOR that you CANNOT PASS THROUGH is NOT a DOOR.  It's a WALL

The seller's instructions is to email with any issues.  The response I received is to read the store policy.  This particular problem is NOT COVERED by ANYTHING in the policy.

What can I do?

If you purchased the item on the MP, "flag" it.   Note that this will not get you a refund.

Otherwise, there is nothing you can do.  This is considered a Resident to Resident dispute and LL will not get involved.

Did it mention coming with a script?  A door won't open without one.

Good point. However, it wouldn't be possible for you to add a script to a door that was sold as NO MOD.  So, the first thing to do is examine the door with your editor to determine whether it already has a script in it.  If so, you should have received instructions for installing the door so that the script behaves properly. If there's no script, or there are no instructions, contact the seller to ask for whatever is missing.
