It is against the TOS to give away an account & you risk getting it deleted & possibly your friend banned.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND BILLING

3.1 You must establish an account to use Second Life, using true and accurate registration information.

You must establish an Account with Linden Lab to use the Service, except for those portions of the Websites which Linden Lab allows users to access without registration. You may establish one or more additional Accounts, provided that your existing Account is in good standing and you are otherwise in full compliance with this Agreement. You may not transfer or assign your Account and its contractual rights, licenses and obligations, to any third party without the prior written consent of Linden Lab.

Any account (premium or basic) can only be created by a single individual and that person is responsible for anything that happens with that account.  However, it is not against any ToS rule to allow someone else to use that account.  If you give that person permission (by giving the person your account information such as SL user name and password) that's between you and that person........you will be responsible for anything the other person does with your account.  It's your personal information that you agreed to give access to.  Unless you know that person very well it's risky.  It also could be considered deceitful, which is a gray area (technically, everyone in SL is being somewhat deceitful because your avatar is not the real you).  If you decide to do that it might be a good idea to disclose the fact that you might be one of two real life people by stating it in your profile.  It's a risky thing to do.  Even if that person is your twin bother or sister.
