Looking for those really big writings in the sky

About 3 or 4 years ago, someone had really big letters put up in the sky. It reads something like "Save SL" or something like that.

I only remember it was on Mainland somewhere (North corner of one of the Mainland continents) and it was big red letters, some were higher than 10,000 and there was chains, skyboxes and stuff going down too. Was fun to fly around there. Does anyone remember which letters i'm talkin about?

I thought it was on Zukovsky sim, but i guess its not. Cant find it there.

Welcome to Second Life Forums, Dane.

You might be lucky, and the owner of that particlar parcel of land might read your post, but I doubt it.  People move on, and it looks like this landowner has too.

All you can do is scour the world map and see if there are any other places that look interesting in a similar way, or browse the Destination Guide. There are tons of interesting places. Maybe other people will be able to add specific ones to this thread.

I remember some incredible skywriting achievements. Some clever Resis scripted objects that could translate a bitmap image into a face that covered a region. I had some examples that were fairly recent but can't find them at the moment, I'd welcome attempts to compile these into an album. I saw brief love notes on occasion.

My own island, aptly named Torley, has a simple 5x5 matrix showing my watermelon colors. Definitely influenced by what I saw before. And I have another island where terraforming is free for all — thanks to Marigold for this pic, how appropriate that she replies here!
