Do I get some Premium services after buying a Sim?

I have recently bought a full private island sim and have noticed my Group allocation has gone upto 70...is this normal?

Does anyone know if you get other premium services when owning a sim? I've tried looking in the knowledge base but no luck so far

The 70 groups is for anyone who is premium and not just region owners.  You don't even need to be premium to own a.private estate.  Purchasing mainland is only available to premium members.  I believe the only thing extra as a region owner is consierge service.

A premium account requires a monthly fee.

With a premium membership you can:

• Own land on the mainland, including a Linden Home.
• Get free exclusive virtual goods
• Have access to premium sandboxes
• Submit support cases for an expanded set of problems.
• Initiate live chat sessions with customer support.

Thanks for replying Rowan. I understand about the benefits of being a Premium member but I am still a basic member and that is why i don't understand why my Groups went upto 70. I was checking to see if anyone knew whether it was because i bought a sim?

If your groups went up to 70,  you're Premium. Go check your account. Maybe you went to Premium when you bought your region and didn't realize it. If so, be sure to pay annually rather than monthly. Paying monthly for a premium account is expensive.

it might perhaps also count for concierge users, as many region owners need more groups for running their region for shops/clubs/rp ...a.s.o  ?

What Alwin said.  You do qualify for concierge, and that is a step up from premium, so it makes sense that you will have all the perks of premium PLUS concierge support.  (I admit I was already premium when I had a private region, so I can't answer from experience.)

It would be nice if the upgrades would be listed in the description of concierge level as it does for premium.  Just a thought @Linden Lab

That is what i was thinking Alwin...it was due to Concierge level. It seems to be the only perk i have though but we all need more Group space lol. I would have thought that you would be automatically upgraded to Premium if you bought a sim or is that just wishful thinking.
