When you left click on the world map, you will have created a red circle, yes? Now in the bottom right of your map screen is a button that says teleport, click that.

Also, make sure you have logged in under advanced mode, not basic. It is on the login screen, under mode, next to the login button.

You have a world map on your browser and one when logged in
they work differently

  1. In world you just mark the spot you want to go and then teleport to it
  2. Using the browser map you need to be logged in as well
Find the location click: Visit this location, then you get a landmark in world which you can teleport to

The world map is great.:)

If you just want to go somewhere random you can drag-scroll you way around the map, pick somehwere they looks interesting & then just double click it and you will TP there. You can use your mousewheel to zoom in & out so that you can see much more of the map at the same time.

If you know the name of a sim you want to visit, just type it into the map search and click enter, then teleport once the map has found it. You can also type in coordinates, which can be handy for example to change your height on a sim & TP`ing, which can be faster than flying or falling.

You can also use the map to look for large gatherings of people (green dots) which can indicate something interesting may be going on there and if you are looking for land for sale & have that checked to show, you will see yellow boxes which inidcate land available to buy.
