I've seen that one but can't remember whose profile it is.

I do like funny profiles. I profile surf when sitting around SL bored sometimes. I do roll my eyes at profiles that say they object to being read. Who made them type text in a public profile? Lol.

Translation into English (or "the English of Irene Muni" LOL) of a Spanish profile, Real Life tab:

"REAL life?

Apologies, I'm not sure about my real life.

I still can not distinguish between windmills and giants. (or between Quixote and Sancho)."

A friend of mine has this in his profile, it cracks me up everytime I read it:

"Self help books I've read lately are "Chicken Soup For The Obnoxious Jerk" and "I'm O.K., You're The **bleep**."

If it seems like I'm afk, I'm probably just ignoring you. If I really am afk, I'm probably hoping you'll be gone when I get back..."

No offense ladies but do you really find the pricing thing funny, cause I didnt really, maybe is my lack of sense of humor, but i find it something only a jerk would right down.

I imagine a guy writting something similar on his profile ending it with how he enjoys decieving women and that it is priceless..

That would be hilarious.. not

You gotta say that Cio has a point........

Ummm ... ok ... I suppose I'll be the one to point out the irony!

She ain't calling the deception pricess, she's calling the fact that someone would even take it seriously priceless. It isn't deception when it's blindingly obvious its a joke (at least, I thought it was blindingly obvious!)

I think she might be right though ... it is kinda priceless! :smileyvery-happy:

Well, that could be considered splitting hairs.......... Her profile is funny. I'm not disputing that it was obviously a joke just saying that Cio has a point. :smileywink:

Well all I can say to that is that, personally, if it had been a guys profile with essentially the same thing that isn't attacking anyone directly but making light of a certain aspect of SL, and then commenting about the fact that someone is bound to take it seriously, I'd still find in bloody funny! :smileyvery-happy:

Cio, I understand your points, but do you know how many male avatars are always shouting "show me your bleeps" to the female avi's.  We get sick of it sometimes and that was funny to us who are always getting male avatars who might as well as have 40 hands.

So many female jokes about our body parts all the time, but we play nice with the guys almost all the time.  Inworld is different than here in the forums.

Oh ya and I forgot, now when guys yell show me your bleeps or take your top off, I say "that will be 5000000000000000000000 lindens please".

Btw, did you find Marketplace yet?  I hope so!

Hello Randal, hello to all! Her profile is really funny and intelligent and made me to laugh too. If her only aim is to make other to laugh, it is ok. On the other side if she is an escort i consider her profile no professional, with other words is time for her to land in the reality again.

If she looks pretty? I can say yes, i don't discern something i don't like in her pic, although there are more beautiful avatars (for my opinion always)  :smileywink:

She is not an escort. While most entries in her profile are of a humorous nature, she has some serious information too. For example she has this in her picks:

Ever ask yourself why you log in here? In my over 5 years here, I have never found myself asking this as often as I do now. We roam this pixelated version of reality amongst thousands of others. Some are escaping real life, some are searching for something or someone to add to it, and some are even trying to replace it altogether. Yet at the end of the day, all our reasons for being here are temporary. Places, objects, even people will all one day disappear from our Second Lives. I'm sure many will disagree, but I ask you this: How many times have you stood in a room filled with other people in silence? How many items have you bought that sit in your inventory forgotten, or built objects just to delete them from existence? We enter into SL alone with almost nothing, and at the end of our time here, we'll leave the exact same way. So why am I here? I think the most honest answer is to simply enjoy the moment while it lasts, because tomorrow is promised to no one, not even in your Second Life. ㋡
