Forums Section to Promote Your Groups

I think it would be good if there were a section of the forums to promote your group. You could describe the group's purpose and goals and seek members.

It shouldn't have to be contrived, such as "favourite places," where you are forced to promote someone else's place -- or put it in "parcels for rent" even if it isn't really for rent.

This should apply for groups with free or paid membership.

I think it's especially important for Bellisseria because you cannot have land in search, and you can only have a group. And there's no way to know of that's group's existence unless the few groups enjoying the most favour happen to mention your group, or if you can find it in the increasingly obstructed search.

I can't see a down side to this. Of course there will be people with groups around clubs and activities you don't like, but then you don't have to click on their thread.

If it can't be in the conversational part of the forums, then to have it under the land ads might be a possibility.

Let's not. There's plenty of 'JOIN THE GROUP' spam in-world already. Don't need even more advertisement clutter on the forums.
