Damani Media Player issues?

I have a Damani Media player that has been working fine for years. Recently tho it is no longer working. When I reset scripts I receive a page that  says that flash and quicktime are not installed, but they have not been installed on my computer for several years so that is not it. I tried the player on several other sims, same thing.

Has anyone experienced similar issues, with Damani or other media player issues?

Flash and QuickTime are obsolete if your TV doesn't support HTML5 it wont work in SL, if you are looking to buy a TV that is supported and kept up to date you could look in to the VEA brand

Correct, they are obsolete, and I have not had them installed for years, and the Damani viewer worked fine. My suspicion is that something in SL changed recently so I am checking for those issues before I look at a replacement. As I mentioned all has been ok until about a week ago. Firestorm and SL viewer have the same issue, and no recent viewer updates for either. Hence my suspicion that there was some change on the sl server side.

I think you just got lucky, @Doug Bagration. The Damani TVs haven't worked (for most of us, anyway) for years, and haven't had any creator support either.

Not harshing on Damani, I don't think the creator's even still in SL.
