Walls and Floor Are Not Loading on SL

A few days ago, I noticed this lag (I believe that is the term). I've emptied the cache, manually emptied the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled SL (I'm using V2) and still nothing.

Any suggestions?

Hi, missing walls etc. are sometimes caused by packet loss. If your computer and home network did not change, then there is probably something overloaded out on the internet, not a lot you can do to really fix it but wait.

There are a few little tricks you can try that can get the server's attention and resend the missing parts.

- Go to SL preferences, setup section, and move the "Maxiumum bandwidth" slider up or down a notch. You can put it back later.

- Go to your groups and change the active one.

- Spin your avatar around slowly in a circle. It sounds like a stupid magic trick, but the camera angle does change what the viewer tries to load.

- If you are missing only some prims on an object, alt-click on it and zoom in.

My walls go when i'm about to lose my internet connection.  It's my first warning.

I've also noticed that some walls are not rezzing promptly; this is a recent problem that did not used to happen.   I don't think it's a problem on my end, especially since other people are seeing it.   It's probably something subtly broken in SL due to a client or server rollout.  It's been going on for more than a week.
