Sotuknang
I recently signed up for Second Life, and installed the program needed to run it. However, when I go to log in, I get a box that says "Loading Terms of Service" and tells me I must click "accept" before I can continue. The terms of service never load, and I cannot click the "accept" button. I have no idea what to even try for this.I am using Windows 7, if that is any help. LoveAngeL Lyre
Hello Sotuknang. It is a known problem. Try to download a previous version of Viewer 2 and accept the TOS there. If you accept them once, it exists for all the viewers after. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Supported_Viewers
Sotuknang
Thanks LAL. Hopefully this will take care of it. Does it make a difference using an earlier version?
LoveAngeL Lyre
Usually yes. That's what we suggest and it works.
Sotuknang
I tried Version 2.6.8, and had the same problem.
Ruby Reynaud
Perhaps try a third party viewer, such as Phoenix.
Storm Clarence
I think it would have worked with the first change. When you have issues like the one you are having a complete uninstall: all files, cache, links, etc. must be performed. Then do an install of the new viewer, accept the TOS. Enjoy SL. LoveAngeL Lyre
Viewer 1.23 for sure fixes the problem
LoveAngeL Lyre
Try viewer 1.
Sotuknang
That's what I was thinking. Now, when I log in here, I can't use my account username because in 1.23 there has to be a first and last name. Worse yet, I can't find any way to creat an account with a first and a last name. Am I missing something here?
