how do I attach a notecard to an object I let people copy?

I have an object, and I'd like to let people copy it for free. But I would like them also to receive a notecard telling them something about the object.

How do I set up the object so that anyone who  "right click > More > Take Copy" will receive the notecard along with the copy?

Make a simple vendor:    Make a copy of the object, and then put the object and the notecard into the copy.  Then use your editor to set the object for sale for L$0, like this ...

The copy is now a vendor that will give both the object and the notecard when you click it.

That's brilliant. I've always used an inventory giver script to create vendors. Rolig, who's actually a scripter (I'm not!), manages it with no script at all.
