How do you know land is grandfathered?

Hi, 

I want to buy grandfathered land but i was wondering...how can you tell it is grandfathered?  I do not want to be cheated and told it is when it is not.

When a region is transferred between residents, you don't pay the seller directly. Instead, you both submit support tickets to LL. To retain the region's grandfathered status, the seller must pay a transfer fee of $300 USD, or L$ 78,000. The seller will usually ask you to add this amount to the purchase price.

When you submit your ticket to purchase the region from the seller, you can ask LL to confirm that the region's grandfathered status will be preserved and that your monthly land fee will be $179 USD for a region with a land impact allowance of 20,000 or $229 for 30,000.
