How do I get my owner roles back when I joined my own existing group already?

Most likely this is a bug but I was wondering how I get my roles back in my own group.

This is what I did:

 

I have a group and I am owner of it.

I rejoined my own group while I was in it already (did not know this was possible)

Now it still says I am owner  of the group but all the right I have are gone and I cant invite people and/or write group notices etc..

 

How to solve???

If you are the only owner of the group, then it looks like you broke it and you will need to get support to fix it for you. You should also create a JIRA (bug report) to stop it from happening again to anyone.

If there is another group owner, then you can leave the group and get invited back & promoted to owner by that person.

Hopefully, you have an officer who has similar rights that you have and can reinvite you back to the group as owner with all of the rights that you once had.  If not, this may be a good idea for future reference.  Even if the officer is an alt of yours, at least you will be able to correct the problem.
