Paul Hexem
I can't seem to find it anywhere, so I figured I'd ask if anyone's seen any info on this. Does SL support multi-IP connections? Specifically, passed through a load balance router?
bigmoe Whitfield
Yes it does, dual wan cable connection from comcast some years ago, different ip's, but the unit would get it's one ip from one of the modems and use that.

If it only uses the one IP, then it's by definition not multi-IP compatible. Multi-IP compatible would mean it'd recognize data from both connections. Exavor Diesel
So by definition you have more than one public breakout IP address? So packets will be sourced from xxx.xxx.xx1 and xxx.xxx.xx2 etc in the event of a failover and/or round robin routing scenario? If so then I think this is unlikely to work, it's likely your session will die and you will be disconnected.

With good software, I get the combined downstream and upstream of both. Most file sharing programs and game platforms like Steam and Origin support it. With 800 on one and 200 on the other, I can get speed tests bordering at gigabit. If I were willing to pay a little bit more and put in CAT7 cables, I could surpass that. I just wish more software supported it.
