You mean that tiny screen thing, right? Much better...take the flow restrictor. This is a little rubber ring with like 4 tiny bumps on it, located in the faucet valve, not the spigot. It restricts the flow of the faucet to make it comply with EPA gallon per minute rules. We had one faucet that had very low flow, it took forever just to fill a small drinking glass. The Resident Geek tried to adjust the flow by just cutting out a tiny segment of the flow restrictor. As it turned out, this instantly made it completely non-functional. Now that faucet puts out Niagra Falls if you just crack the valve, like turning on the garden hose over the bathroom sink.

We have it in the guest bathroom. Fun times!
