Sim priceing still the same since the AWS move?

No more old servers. There was a photo back then showing all the hard drives in a dump box taking their turns being destroyed. If memory serves, they junked the machines themselves as well.

Good point about entering water regions. We can notify them that we will be there in 10 minutes, so get them up! lol

Another issue to my mind is that LL is no longer in ultimate control of the servers. Amazon is, and we already know that Amazon is quite willing to shut down the servers of those who don't toe their line, whatever that may be at any particular time. So while on the one hand we have another thread discussing the ramifications of virtual sex and the payment companies, there should also be some concern that Amazon could pull the plug if they choose for some transgression to their ToS, whether real or manufactured.

which is their right if they find a violation of  their terms of service,  since they are a privately owned company, if one of thier clients is acting a fool,  they have the right to yank them at any time for what ever reason they feel.    This is all I'm going to comment on this one, since it will turn into a storm.   but there it is, it's how it is.

Amazon is a publicly traded company and has thousands of arbitration and court cases going on where a client and Amazon are not in agreement about various contracts for their services. By being residents and users of Secondlife, we are by extension also subject to the limitations of the Amazon cloud services as far as allowable content.

which is,  yank and deny useage clause Amazon can use at any time.  it's part of the schtick to using some one elses services you do not own directly.
