Celebee 5 Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 I have had fun in SL before, but there was a time where I felt much bliss. It wasn't romantic or anything like that, I was just hanging out in Ahern when I got into a conversation with the people there. At one time, it was five, but by the time I left (rather reluctantly, I might add) it was four of us. We chatted on mainly superficial things, but we just connected. It's very hard to explain, but I had so much fun that day. Needless to say, I added all those people to my friends list. I keep returning to Ahern every day to see if I can recreate the moment, but no such luck. But I did end up meeting and chatting with one of the girls from that time, and we hit on so many topics! It feels great having friends on SL; friends through socialising is probably one of the best ways to make friends in SL. I'm more of a roleplayer and so I hang out at roleplay sims mostly, but I find that because we're all playing roles, we aren't really connecting as friends; just our characters interacting and creating storylines together. While that is indeed fun too, I still find myself needing to socialise from time to time. Link to post Share on other sites
