Oh, I was just pointing out common future tropes (that were said to happen in this century) and comparing them to our actual reality.

History tends to repeat itself roughly 4 times per century and this one isn't quite a fourth of the way through yet so I think we have a little time. 

First thing most will think of is the Covid pandemic coinciding timewise with the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918. Almost exactly 100 years in between. 

If things follow along previous events, stock market crash should be the next major event so the next Black Tuesday will probably occur within the next 5 years.

Figures. The next Great Depression will start right before I'll be eligible for full retirement and SS.
