Is there another jazz club besides Frank's that's any good?

Don't get me wrong, I really like Frank's, but sometimes it's a bit flat there. I've looked at the other places I have LM's for, and there's never anyone there. I really enjoy putting on a formal and going dancing with nice men, but can there really be only one place in SL to do that? Seems like it. I've been away for a couple years and I'm hoping something else as good has opened up in that time. Formal dress code preferred.

Hey Rowan, I went to Foxies and it seemed that it was only couples there, all the guys had their women with them already, so no meeting men there. Also, the dance floor is black, so if you are wearing a black formal you can't see most of yourself. Back to Frank's.

Well I can only join the group with that link, it's not an LM, so I can't get there and I can't find it in web search in my viewer. Trying to go to the place on the map gave me an adult resort of some kind.

On that page above, if you hit view on map, it gives you the map coordinates.  The join now button is to join SL and not the group.

Okay but I still cannot get there. I just get a landmark for some adult resort, and it's not listed in Web Search that I can find, though the group for it is.

Good OP. I used to hang at Franks in both Kat and my male avatar form until I had someone who is regular there ask me to step away from their SL, and I made the mature decision to avoid the place. So always looking for a good replacement. Love Foxxies as Kat, so that is one great place at least. More casual jazz would always be welcome.

Music , Other  arts music   atmosphere.

 

Look when they have events and time zones you can show up.  Weekend and after 5 pm weekdays when things are open but look for a time zone. 

Best thing is just look for places, tags and titles you might find what you're looking for.

I just go flow where the music and the universe takes me to unexpected places.

 

Each place is different in its own way. Good idea to read info when landing some place will have a dress code just classy to casual or come as you are. 

Most places are also on theme and era not all are. Best of luck.

Many Lads  go to Moderate  to Adult erotica mature places ,Sometimes General places.  Open more door go the the distance. 

You don't have to do anything you don't feel like doing. You don't have to go that place that night go some where  unexpected  but you can go see for yourself you can travel to each place to see what is going on.  Show up beforehand, try to work way in and mingle so that you get comfortable with the place.  You can derender what you don't wanna see, it's your sl but sometimes you gotta have a little fun and have some wine, some good laughs, enjoy life why you can. 

Even if places have themes does mean you have to bare down to your undergarments  you can wear classy lace gown , Cocktail dress with a slit , Sheer gloves , Lace hats  , 1950s , 1960s  to today era  cover the body knickers with petticoat skirt or with a sheer shawl. You don't have to fall into the theme, just be yourself and still wear things and have fun.  I use to be a bit shy but I wear vintage things sorta like Dita Von Teese but as myself  in my own expression you  can still keep it on keep to  the imagination you don't have to do what others do but stay in character just have fun let things flow.
