No. It doesn't. And in fact, the presence of griefers at all has been used as justification by rotten patriarchs to reshape communities here into some quite kooky and toxic environment compatible only with certain intolerant predilections.

You still don't get it. You are missing the point that humans are smart enough to figure out how to abuse any system.

So on that note, how about an ethos that's fixated upon creating an environment that engenders long-term user retention and ascension? Build a community that serves its members and creates a better world in which for them to exist. Empower communities by creating a better environment in which for them to flourish by helping to purify this culture of its predatory memes and exploited human systems and have excellent gatekeepers, judges, and bouncers. It's not rocket science.
