You can use Options > Edit to post more info, you do not need to start a new thread.

When you say you cannot see your avatar what do you mean? Is it a invisible, a cloud. a white oval, black?

Go to you library clothing folder and drag one of the folders in there onto your avatar.

If you are invisible, are you using dual monitors? If so, switch SL to the primary one.
