Why do bots camp in my house when I am gone

I have a parcel monitor that emails me when avatars arrive in my home.  I've noticed that bot accounts stay there for hours when I am not on.  Some leave milliseconds after I arrive, and arrive milliseconds after I leave.  Not a huge deal, but has any one else seen this.

Plenty of places in SL would pay good money for that kind of dependable traffic boost.

Just make sure you're not leaving public rez on etc.
