I'm a Mainland lover and one of my favorite things to do take POD rides around the Mainland - for me, it's like a video diary of the history of the grid and how it changes. I started recording them about a year ago (with some super chill background music behind the video). In short, I creep down Linden Roads at a super slow pace and turn my computer graphics on high in an attempt to load in all the textures around me. Then I speed up the video and post it on my YouTube channel for residents to watch without all the loading time. I usually list them Friday, but I thought I'd start sharing them in this thread in case anyone was interested! Here was last week's PODscast - I'll post a new one every Friday! Do you know of anyone who can create those pod routes? I know there’s a package on MP but I just have no time to figure them out. I’d happily buy the scripts and package for anyone who would like to do one of these for our Land. Party at your place!!! 🎉 But seriously, I found LOTS of empty space out there when I was riding around that could have some really epic views for sure. Rabid Cheetah Posted July 24, 2021 Share Posted July 24, 2021 Yep, G land tends to be lower demand, and thus lower price. I don't get it. But then, I don't get why LL has Moderate land anyhow, which is really the root cause of the "we gotta have ban lines or an orb if we're gonna hit the [F6] and [F9] buttons, baby", if you think about it and read the land rating rules. When I want to do adult stuff, which is rare these days, I go do it on Adult land, where go can go into Porno Mode in the middle of the street. But those are topics for a whole different set of threads -- though I will say that I think another reason my parcel was so cheap is due to all the neighboring ban lines.
