Roller Skating Communites

Hi I'm sort of new to SL and was curious about roller skating communities on sl. If their are places you can skate outdoors. Or skate boarding.

I don't know of any communities but do like to roller skate in sl. I usually just look places up in search when I want to go or even skate in the neighborhoods that I live in or have access too. Sometimes I go shopping with skates on!  Kind of fun way to go exploring also...

 Just thought I'd reply though because it's nice to see people interested in roller skating in world!

I roller skate and skate board and hover board all over SL. I really never thought to look for a place to do those things. Winter time brings out the ice skaters though and places to do so.

Thanks for replying. I usually skate around too lol but thought maybe there is a park or even places that do competitions. Hopefully will find one by accident

A couple of dance clubs I work at or frequent hold regular skating events. I will PM you the names as sometimes the forums get finicky about listing inworld businesses.

FWIW I think that the consensus is that Listing listing other people's businesses in topics that specifically ask for places of a certain type is fine, and listing your own (or associated with you) business is mostly tolerated if it is actually in-line with the question/topic. Murphy's law adapted to the forums though:

I don't know there is roller skating!! 😮 I never done roller skating in SL but I love it in RL. Do you know anybody who creates Roller Skating shoes? What place I can do that?

Off the top of my head - Vista has a roller skater AO with skates included.

I think if the people interested in roller skating together should just reply here if they find any sims for it. Then maybe once a week they can have a roller skate get together? I'd be interested.

Those boards are really fun. At the end of the entrance hall you can find 2 boards, one is free.

The group is called -SBS- SimBoard Sports. They meet every Sunday, usually.
