LilithServil
I was trying to make my own day/night cycle for my parcel and got a nice soft early night look based on [TOR] Night - Our Together. Both it and the setting I put together has this weird issue when I move my camera around. Just a warning/heads up, the color flickering gets kind of fast in the second gif. https://i.gyazo.com/cd9664bdd5057c64637721927018f854.mp4 + https://i.gyazo.com/794faaeb3c2e51c194ecd256c179eb63.mp4 I have all shaders on and sun/moon/projectors enabled. Wulfie Reanimator
Kind of a shot in the dark (ha, get it?) but what objects are behind your camera, to the right? It seems like some object(s) are being unloaded since it's outside of your view, which allows more light to shine through. When you turn your camera, the object is loaded into existence again which casts a shadow. You could try rotating the sun so that it shines from a different direction. colleen Criss
Wulfie took my words as I looked at the gyazos that was my 1st thought as well.
NiranV Dean
Looks like lights poofing. Shadows all stay intact and don't change but you can see the light reflecting off of items from the side. Seems like a common issue with lights... I suspect this being light bounding boxes not being properly calculated or lights simply being not rendered anymore when they still should (camera still in their bounding box or the bounding box still in the visible area)
LilithServil
Sorry I haven't checked back on this thread in a while after asking lol- I'm not sure sure it's the first suggestion. It happens even when I'm wiggling my camera around beyond the bounds of my parcel in a totally barren empty mainland lot, so it's not because of items derendering. IIRC at the time of that gyazo I didn't have any trees or anything up at the time of taking em (now I do to fill out the land a bit) either so the only thing behind the camera was the view of the empty lot. If it's lights not being rendered anymore that's even more confusing because there aren't any external lights being rendered that could be causing it. It's from the environment itself. About 90% of the time the parcel looks dark and nice but then suddenly the red light filter springs up at certain angles and I'm not totally sure what to do about it, so I just ended up changing the environment setting (which is unfortunate bc I liked how that one looked aside from sudden red filter flickering in).
