Any chance you have some sort of "poofer" attachment on? Look in your WORN tab for prims (little box shapes) and take off anything that might be the culprit. Hair and shoes and such should be fine, just questionable things. Typically you can't see these objects as they are transparent.

This is an old ATI graphics card driver issue that started in 2007 for which this is the main JIRA.https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3258  

ATI fixed this bug ages ago with new drivers but we still see some people posting on it.

Disabling VBO (Vertex Buffer Objects) was the workaround to eliminate the coloured triangles (I had to do that myself at the time). A driver update should do the same and provide better performance all round but may not work for some old cards. Disabling VBO worked for virtually everyone.
