region handshake issues lol

helloo friends!
i'm having some issues connecting to the grid and after trying what seems to be everything in the forums, im still having no luck
my log in on any viewer (sl, firestorm, black dragon) all stop at around 49% or region handshake

things i've already tried:
allowing connection through firewall,
allowing ports through firewall,
turning firewall off completely,
trying different landmarks for log in location,
resetting my internet lol,
uninstalling + reinstalling all the latest versions of each viewer
updating my entire pc,
& updating my drivers

if anyone has any idea how to help pleaaaaaase let me know, ya girl has items to blog LOL

@hholke Before we can begin to assist you we need your system specification when running a viewer.  Open the viewer but don't try to log in.  Look in the top left corner of your splash page and you will see "Help".  click that and "about" (this is the almost the same whichever viewer you are using so far as I recall).

Then copy and paste the top half of what You see down to the Graphics "OpenGL Version" line.  That will give us part of what we'll need.  Then hopefully someone more techy than I can jump in to help you. 😊

Off the top of my head I would say your firewall or antivirus is not allowing SL to communicate with the viewer in some fashion so the sychronization with SL cannot be completed, but how you fix that I have not a clue.

thank you!  i already tried turning my firewall off completely, and manually adding in rules + exceptions and specific ports to allow the  connect, with no luck.
i also do not have a antivirus software other than the one that comes with windows lol
