Once upon a time there was Desura and LL bought it (??!) and added Second Life, and it was review bombed into the floor. LL gave it away a little over a year later to focus on it's core business (Sansar) and Desura died, it's wandering zombie corpse now infested with flash games.

I remember the reviews on Desura, it was brutal. Can't imagine SL on steam ever getting a fair shake.

Twitch have always had a problem with SL. Way back in the early days of Twitch when it required devs apply for their API, add it to their application and submit for approval, Kitty did all the work and added streaming support right into Catznip .. and Twitch rejected us at the final hurdle (in a very wordy mail) because 'there was no way to verify the ownership of all content on screen'. We very much got the impression someone there didn't want SL on the platform and was hunting for an excuse.
