It is also possible, depending on where you are, that the new server roll outs to the Release Channels may be causing you problems. Check http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ every so often to see if they roll back a release.

Go to your Library Clothing folder & drag one of the avatar folders on to your avvie.

Reset your avvie to default,   Advanced Menu >>Character>>Character Tests >> Test Male (or Female)
