weird lindens

someone sent me lindens today the amount was 20 lindens the date is 2021-04-06 around 10pm for no reason? i tried to ask them if this was for an friendly reason or not but they would not respond back to me.?

any ideas of what i can do or just leave it alone?

Don't ask questions. Just take the money and run. If some nice person gave me a gift worth 8 cents, that's what I would do.

It could be that you went to a club that pays random people for being there or you maybe played a sploder or played trivia in a place that pays for a correct answer.

Caution is needed here.  It could that they are randomly paying out small amounts to a group to people as noise to attempt to hide a single larger payment to a specific avatar.  They might do this because the L$ were obtained fraudulently somehow.  Pretty sure it doesn't work because if LL are suspicious they would just look at the amounts to determine who was the real intended recipient (alt account).  However that doesn't stop people thinking it might work.  LL may take that amount back later.

Yeah, that's always a possibility.  LL doesn't like money laundering. And yes,

Still, it's all of L$20 -- 8 cents in USD.  Hardly worth fretting over.
