Just a question for the pro's! How long should I wait between rolls to make sure I don't get the same home again. I usually roll until I see some water near at least.

It depends, for me.  What you are waiting for is for somebody else to claim that home, or for enough people to abandon homes that yours gets pushed farther down in the queue.  So, if you're looking for a Fantasy home, for example, there's over 2000 of them available and the queue is moving very slowly.  So, I waited about 2 hours between rolls for that one.  I still got a lot of repeats, but not as many as when I just rolled 5 times in a row.  I saw many lovely parcels, but not one that fit my needs.

But, if you're looking for a stilt on pier, well there are very few available, so you shouldn't need to wait long.

You can easily check to see if homes you recently abandoned have been claimed using Firestorn's teleport history.  Bring it up, and you'll see a little arrow next to each place you recently TP'd to.  Click that and the landmark for that place will open, with the parcel's current name in it.  If the name is "Linden Home", no one has claimed that parcel yet.

You can also just click on the parcel on the world map, and it will show you the parcel's name.

I wish there was a hard and fast rule. For me it doesn’t matter if I wait 24 hours and use a different alt. I can still end up with the same house I rolled the previous day!

This is true, except there is at least one owner who names their home “Linden Home” and their group some variation of Governor Linden. I‘ve been fooled by that a couple times.

Saw a great oceanfront ranch home with that name once. Needless to say I was disappointed to find out it was being used by someone, haha. Fell into the trap.

Yeah,  I did one a half hour later and got the same one so then I did an hour and got different ones.  I really wish it would rotate for us by default.

I like to log an alt and TP directly into the home, and when they protest, claim that I thought it was vacant due to the name.  Being a troll can work both ways.

I'm not planning on renewing my premium which is coming up. I've had this wonderful stilt on land since it was released. 1st on a Alt but I was lucky enough to abandon it and pick it up on my main account. I plan to let it go in the next few days. That's a lovely spot.  It will be hard to pass to someone, as there as an abundance of stilts on land, but you never know.  It's certainly worth a try.

Unfortunately support tickets really only work once the house has been abandoned.  So one might as well just try to time it right anyway.  The Lab is very clear that they will not pre-assign houses or assign a house that is already occupied.  #BeenThereTriedThat

I didn't know there were so many stilts on land available. Last time I hunted they were really rare. I've released it if somebody wants to put in a ticket for it.

I am so hyped for new log house models so i decided to leave my stilt for a log house. Its also a great theme to celebrate halloween and christmas  🌿🌲 I love the grand view (even though the "view"  is always in the wrong direction 😆 )

If im not wrong the grand view is one of the few house that can be rotated. Im pretty sure i did that with mine...

Some PP homes have freed up - 9 Meds and 21 Ranches on the land page.  I'm not hopping right now, so can't say for certain, but it doesn't seem to me that there are any new region releases.  (Altho I do see homes available in Southwest Ranch regions Whitneyville and Bahha.  Those regions may have been released within the last week or so?)

Yes i know But its only possible to rotate in one direction and that is a lot worse in this case. Its ok as it is Actually But not optimal 😊

Large Med Release!  68 homes currently available.  Cougar Den (coastal), Midnight Waltz (likely community region adjacent), and four Mediterranean regions along the rail line toward Sakura, from Torre Grigia to Otro Gallo, have been released.

Hey everyone!

Could someone tell me during what times a Premium Plus region is being released, specifically the Med ones? How do we know which one is next? I see different square border colorings on the Map. Some red, some yellow. Is that an indicator by any chance? I've seen a specific house I want... region is not released yet. We need to know these things! 😂

Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing other than watching the region you want the house in somewhat constantly. Most of the time the squares are red before release but not always. When you see the region with the red square being restarted and it is not a rolling restart day, that is a good indication that it is about to be released. That is when I would put in my ticket, but being careful to change the slurl to remove the "SSP".

Occasionally this can back fire and the region is not released. In that case, if the region returns with SSP still in the name, I would immediately cancel my ticket before they have a chance to process it and have it count against your allowed number of requests in a month.
