When did you last see a Bellisserian home available? Starting afresh.

There was a glitch--I had one assigned on Ahoy Matey, and I had gotten an email confirmation. I went there to find it owned. I asked what happened, and there was trouble with the region (that one anyway), and it went into the land store when it was not supposed to. I decided to just relinquish the boat, though I was given the option to get it back. I got a different one on another region.

I got a boat in the new releases as a premium only member, they started coming out as I was hopping other boats - but I don't understand the PP system - when I used it previously I was told only homes marked LH were reservable or at least that was my understanding of it - some of these homes were marked protected land I think? Put me right if incorrect!

That glitch has happened before with a Victorian region...

They didn't assign the parcels in the sense of setting ownership on the "Protected Land" regions. It was simply a parcel name change, until the regions were released and they could be assigned properly. My guess would be that it was intended that each region would release, the ticket houses assigned, then onwards to the next. This is what happened with the last big stilt release. But something didn't go to plan, so the ones on unreleased regions were marked ready for when it was sorted out.

People start ticketing when they see the region name changes happen, which is sensible. Chances are the release will be the next day, so it means the tickets are waiting.

Thank you - It is kind of making sense - I tried going around a few more just now and it seems that because I have the same criteria as the PP ones that were reserved I would need to upgrade again to secure my spot in advance or wait for a very happy accident or abandon. None of the spots I landed would be a keeper boat so I would spend a long time hopping about usually seeing same parcels or upgrade to PP and pick one. With new regions I would then be in competition for those parcels with other PP ers. After seeing these PP tickets be reassigned due to errors and then offered back, both parties are going to be upset and it does not endear me to do another upgrade to the service particularly, (although it has always been quick and friendly in my personal experience in the past I got to add). In what order are the PP tickets assigned I wonder? I would hope that it is a first come first served basis based on the timestamp of a PP ticket?

I'm confused.  We were told before that PP tickets could only be filed for properties that were in a named (non-SSP) region AND were labeled "Linden Home".  Is it now the case that PP tickets can be filed on ANY home in a non-SSP region, whether the parcels are named "Linden Home" or "Protected Land"?   Can any of you PP folks enlighten me?

And, given what Whitney was flitting around doing, it looks like PP tickets are now meant to be filled before the remains of the region are released to the queues?  (If so, this kinda makes me feel like they should change the name of Premium membership to Proletariat membership, but hey, it's LL's game to play).

When PP was introduced, LL mentioned that they were planning to automate PP LH ticketing.  I wonder if this glitchy release was a test of an automation scheme that went sideways?

Whitney told me directly, that as long as the region is not in "SSP status", tickets can be made.

So, if they drop the SSP off of any named region you can ticket a house there regardless of whether or not the houses are "Linden Home".

SSP in front of the region name=no tickets yet.

No SSP in front of the region name=submit a ticket.

You can ticket protected homes as long as the region is not an SSP.

LOL, kind of glad that I've found a nice houseboat parcel and am not actively looking now, because it would piss me off big time to land one on the web page, only to find once I teleported there that it was given to someone else.

Me too.

@Sylvia Tamalyn did anyone from the Lab talked to you or they just took the house offering no explanation? You were in the house when this happened right?

I spoke with Whitney later on. She had not seen the glitch because it happened so quickly. It was like the Land Page awarded it to me as she was in the process of assigning the parcel. I am sure it wasn't deliberate on her part (I was actually still in the water where I had landed, so that's why she didn't notice me! lol).

At any rate, all's well that ends well in this particular case, because I got one I like better this morning. :)

I am putting a really nice boat on Moonchild (love the name!) into the cue.

Protected sunset, lots to love, I just am not a boat gal. lol

The name sounds pretty but it has some pretty awful darker attachments in deeper circles - not trying to diss your throwback, just making a point of names being important to me as a picker. Power in words!

I love the name, LOL.

It sounds like some carefree hippy name to me, lol. I only kept it a few days for the name alone I think, because here was nothing super thrilling about the location. It was nice on the sunset end of the sim too.

But I got a boat on Ringy Dinghy after that glitched ticket, so I will just keep that a while. I am just not much for boats anyway, just trying one here and there for fun.

  • 2 weeks later...

They've renamed and restarted the line of regions from Ballomp to Wiggleroom Gardens. That makes them likely as this week's release. This includes Drama Llama, the region I made a joke about when people were talking about drama llamas, but it fell flat because nobody else knew there was a region with that name. Please put out popcorn machines if you get this one.

These don't come up on the map search yet. Are they houseboats?

Newbrooke. Includes some on the edge of streams/rivers and there's a train station in Drama Llama. A released region next to them is Collina Dolce (so you can find it on the map).

These switched to "Linden Home" whilst we were all crashing trains and hugging Lindens. No claiming activity yet.

Renaming continues. Starling Moss is the region at the end of the previously released channel (Wiggleroom Gardens is the released neighbour). Houseboats on the west of the newbrooke area, with a railtrack behind them, have also been renamed. Starting at Olive Branch until Dashaway (Thimble Pond Farms is a released region in this area). I checked a few other areas and didn't see anything else, but others might become apparent as the map updates.

It's Friday, so I wouldn't expect much else to happen until next week, but you never know.

Yes, I have caught Moles working on the weekend when they are in the middle of a big project, like lining the channel between the Newbrookes and the Chalets with sims and sims of houseboats.
