Travelling with my dog

When I teleport my dog is not following me.

How can I have  him follow me?

Unless he is scripted to vanish when you teleport and re-rez when you arrive -- a very unlikely possibility -- the only way is to attach him to you. From what you said, though, he's almost certainly designed as a follower, so that's not a very practical solution.

Yep, depends on the dog.  Some are "worn" and some are rezzed out as followers but they don't follow through a TP.  Which dog/creator do you have ?  It should have come with a notecard.

If objects could be scripted to follow people through a teleport, we'd have a MUCH worse problem with griefers.

You'll have to de-rez your doggie and let him out of your inventory again at your new destination, or attach him to your avatar during the teleport.
