Help ! How the neck do you find shoes that fit your avatars feet. I got some plain high feet not slink etc. I can't find one pair of shoes that will fit them. I hate the foot with shoes , its a pain to tint skin. Im looking at more inexpensive shoes , but even demos for expensive  shoes don't work. I have a Noya avatar called Nina. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Most shoes made today are for the various mesh bodies. If you didn't buy Slink (also very old) but a random foot than that is mostly meant to be used as barefoot.  If you don't want a mesh body (eBody is free) then you will most likely need to stick to boots or use old (like seven years) system shoes. There are some of these with the default avatars.  Your other more stylish choice would be low boots where you can alpha out your foot.

Always try the demos of course.

I believe eBody can fit Slink shoes:  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Coral Island/248/158/2001

You can also pick up a Ruth body, which can fit most Maitreya shoes: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Ruth2-v4-Mesh-Avatar/20220006

If you want to stick with a system avatar using no mesh body parts, your best best would be unrigged closed toe styles and alpha layers. You'd have to do a bit of manual adjusting though. Lindy Modern & Retro Shoes is one of the few stores that still sell shoes for system feet:

Clothes for system bodies will be represented by this icon:

If you have the money, you can check out the Maitreya body. Its ubiquitousness makes it easy to find plenty of clothes to fit it.

Ok I did get a maitreya  shape but it wasn't a complete avatar so it didn't have the high feet . I  usually shop at marketplace online rather than in world, I can't find anything in world. I really appreciate all the help . I've made 4 avatars now. I just want one that wears shoes . lol

No, Maitreya does not sell at the Marketplace at all.

Did you not click the link in  my first post? Do it, and then you click "Visit this location". It takes you to the store.

Adding to inform you that the group is free to join, or at least when I joined it several years ago. Next to the counter, it is group gifts, and some nice shoes, one is a fatpack, and a dress. This dress, in several colors, and a fatpack of the shoes in the picture, plus a few heels in single colors.

I must say that it's some months since I was there.

Hi, if you don't want to spend money on your avatar, you can choose Ebody free version(has classic and curvy version). I think you can't find it in the marketplace, so you have to visit their inworld store. If you want to spend some lindens then I recommend you the Maitreya body, which is inworld only. Don't buy shapes - this is not a body, just a shape for specific body.

With specific body there are clothes and shoes - the slink shoes can be used with the Ebody. Some clothes for Maitreya fit the Ebody classic.

I was very confused with these things when started with meshes. Try demos and don't buy things you don't understand.

Good luck.

These are largely unsupported by both skinmakers and clothiers. Undesirable, to say the least.
