I fear for SL

Modern mesh avatars are what kill my system's performance.  It used to be that my computer could handle SL quite well, but that was 12 years ago when I built my system.  I guess it might be time for an upgrade?

I used to have a Dell with a GT 240 in it. It used to run SL fine, all the way up until, I'd say 2017. My husband built me a decent gaming PC and it runs SL just fine, even with other programs running and with mesh avatars on a crowded sim.

 

Upgrading does help.

12 years? That certainly was great value for money! It seems that all good things do come to an end sometime though.
