AAA - Big titles & big publishers. People will always buy those, often in advance. Smaller titles and indie stuff are easier to push off and wait for a deep discount.

To look at it from another perspective, events in SL have really pared down the notable creators with many running multiple brands side by side. The bulk of those making things for SL don't get a fraction of the exposure. The exception is the SLM, it's a very level playing field. Stores being able to easily offer sweeping timed discounts makes marketplace 'events' more of a possibility with all of the external promotion that entails.

We're gonna end up with games being priced so that their 50% discount is actually the real retail price.
