Hey everyone! I purchased a female legacy body yesterday and I can not get the legacy hud to load, particularly the middle button that has the BOM activator and shape options.

I am on a Mac Book pro and I believe it’s because of the security settings on it- that are somehow blocking how media works within firestorm, I have checked all of what I understand, but I’m not very good with the settings and security on the Mac... I have adjusted all settings in firestorm to the correct ones, enabled media and so forth...

I had a friend log into my account on his PC and the hud worked fine, so I know it’s a issue with the settings on my Mac. Does anyone have any experience with Macs and can offer any help, I’d be very grateful, or offer any advice on how I can go forward from here. Don’t want to throw 5000L down the drain 😭

many thanks to all!

I have no knowledge about Mac. But I can say something about Second Life issues.

I suggest you take off all the parts, body, hands and feet, and detach the HUD.

Doublecheck that you really has enabled media, click ok and close Preferences. Log off.

Log in to a quiet area of SL. You can select "Hatton" as your start location. When you are in, walk away from the center so you are a bit away from others.

Wear the body parts, attach the HUD and try again. You may need to click on it to open/close a few times.

I have done all of the above, I’ve tried several sandboxes, as well as ones with literally no one on them... I have attached- taken off, re-attached over and over, I have changed settings, saved them, logged out... I even reinstalled firestorm... none of these have worked for me sadly 😭 great advice, but I do believe the issues is with my Mac, I have never experienced this with anything in SL, it’s so frustrating...thank you for your time and comment!

it’s connected to the media and like the security with in my Mac... I wish I knew how to change it. I’ve searched online, I need like a Mac wiz lol

You could try joining the inworld LiveHelp group for Legacy and asking in there. However, there is also a brief online guide, here: https://www.meshbody.com/support

Click the 'HUDs' header, followed by 'How do I enable media?' and there's some advice about enabling Javascript, not ticking the 'enable media filter' preference button, checking that your firewall isn't blocking certain processes, and clearing settings. Work through those to see if they help, and if not then contact the inworld support group.
