My mother bought a whole sim and it is saying that the sim is full, but we have 6.2k prims open?

hmm, my first guess is that the object attempting to be rezzed is more than 6,200 prims, unlikely but possible. A second possibility is that the Land has been subdivided. Rezzing to close to the Regions edge could trigger that message.

If the About Land says there is 6,200 prims and you cannot Rez, you should consider contacting support.

A radical option is to Return all Objects.

You don't say if your mother bought a private estate or mainland.  Either way, unless it's a brand new sim purchased directly from LL it's very possible that the previous owner did not clear the sim of all the prims that were on it prior to the sale.  Your mother has full rights to the sim so she can delete or return anything on it that she wants to ruturn or delete.  Have her go to "About land" and look at the total prims on the land and if they are "owned" by others.  She can return all those that are owned by "others".  If it's a brand new sim purchased directly from LL then a support ticket would be in order.

Has this problem only started happening recently? And is the region Magnum, BlueSteel, RC? Ask your mother what the name is it is running on currently please.

Am I right in thinking your mother's sim is called Dreamz Come True? If so, it is on a Magnum server, and a similar-sounding issue did occur after last week's deploys.
