If you have cancelled your account, you may be able to restore it, depending on how long ago it was cancelled. There is a US$9.95 reactivation fee for restoring an account.  Even your account is restored, the associated inventory, land, and Linden dollar balance may be unrecoverable. 

To start the process, submit a support case as follows:

1. Open a support case.
2. Under What type of problem are you having?, choose Account Issue.
3. Choose Reactivate an old account.
4. Enter the required information
5. Click Submit.

I stopped playing SL a few years ago and now I really want to log back on to my old account because I was a well established avatar with a lot of inventory. I know my username, but I don't know my password or my email that I linked to that account. Is there any way I can get logged on to my old account?

I really don't want to use this new account because I haven't played for so long and everything is completely different and I don't know how to do anything.

Please help!

Go to https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ and submit the ticket to reactivate an old account.

if you do get your old account back, don't get your hopes up about the inventory. "a few years ago" - i doubt they keep inventory for so long.
